My name is Faith Gacheri, I am a 31-years-old and I’m serving a sentence at the Lang’ata Women’s Prison. I joined the Cross-Stitch project in 2018 and I worked on this cartoon pattern. I have spent several years in jail but I have never seen such a project. The money I got from it helped me a lot. I sent some to my sister to help her take care of her children and used some in here for my needs. Before the project, we used to waste a lot of time doing nothing. Now it keeps us busy over the weekend whenever there are patterns to work on. We are very happy and thank God for this project
